Join us for Core Rural Advocacy Training at the Lexington Hotel, 285 N. Cache in Jackson.
This training will provide 32 of the 40 hour requirement for domestic violence sexual assault (DVSA) program advocates and volunteers. This training is created to build on itself from start to finish. It is critical that participants make every effort to attend the training in its entirety. The training times are:
Monday 1:00 to 5:00 pm;
Tuesday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; and
Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A block of rooms is available at the Lexington Hotel under “Wyoming Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault”. The cost is $95.00 per night (this includes a suite upgrade!) Please call 1-307-733-2648 to make your reservation in the block by Monday, April 10th.
A water station will be provided in the training room. Participants are responsible for their meals, snacks, and other beverages during the training. Please bring a pen/pencil, notebook, and eagerness to learn! As a method to assist participants in staying engaged during the training, coloring books with colored pencils, markers and crayons will be available at the training. You are also welcome to bring your own items that will help you stay engaged; Rubik’s cube, pipe cleaners, stress balls, play-doh, etc.
