When a survivor needs to find refuge at the shelter, it’s important that their retreat is warm, welcoming, and home-like. Ensuring that the needs of our clients are met, and that they feel comfortable and relaxed is an important fundamental piece of beginning to heal. Browse the list of our current needs, and consider giving new or gently-used items to help survivors feel more at home. Household
• Hallway runners (any length)
• Twin duvet covers
• Framed art of calming nature scenes or animals
• Blankets and comforters
• Zero-gravity outdoor lawn chairs
• Blenders
• Tall dressers
• Air fryer
Kids
• Infant and toddler carseats
• Children’s books in Spanish, picture and basic chapter books
• Gently used or new buggies/Riding toys for children ages 1-5
• Baby and toddler winter boots, snowsuits, and coats
• Like new, clean children's clothing size 4T and below
• New disposable diapers and wipes
Food
• Non-perishable pantry foods like macaroni and cheese, rice, pasta, etc. Must be unopened and not expired.
Clothing
• Adult winter jackets: size S, M, L, XL, and XXL
• New or like new short sleeve t-shirts, sizes S, M, and L
• New underwear in all sizes
• New or gently used sports bras in all sizes
• Warm winter socks
• Winter gloves
• Pajamas or pajama bottoms in sizes S, M, or L
• Note that we are currently not accepting any business/formal clothing, dresses, or skirts
