Celebrating Our 2026 Peer Advocate Scholarship Winner
We are so excited to congratulate this year’s Peer Advocate Scholarship winner, Kasey Ramos Perez!
For over ten years, Community Safety Network has funded the Peer Advocate Scholarship through the Education Foundation of Jackson Hole’s (formerly the Fund for Public Education) Teton County Scholarship Program. Each year, the foundation awards over $1 million to Teton County high school students and we are honored to be a part of it.
The Peer Advocate scholarship is awarded to a student who has gone through the Peer Advocate club training at Jackson Hole High School and has demonstrated a commitment to advocacy of healthy relationships and support of survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Winners of the scholarship often pursue degrees related to social work or go on to volunteer for sexual assault prevention organizations.
We are so proud of this year’s winner, Kasey Ramos Perez! Kasey is a dedicated peer advocate who is pursuing a degree in criminal justice and a career in law enforcement.

Kasey Ramos Perez
2026 Peer Advocate Scholarship Awardee
Kasey is a dedicated, hard-working advocate who is committed to safety in her community. She recognizes that “teenagers tend to normalize mistreatment and do not speak up. They are made to feel like their emotions and what they have to say are not valid. Resulting in substance abuse, low self-esteem, and in some cases, suicide.”
We are so grateful for her passion and commitment to healthy relationship education, and we are so excited that she plans to return to our community after college to continue to support survivors and their safety. What an extraordinary asset to law enforcement, our community, and to victims of relationship violence. Thank you, Kasey, for being you – and congratulations on this exciting next step of your journey!
