It is not okay, and it is not your fault.

Community Safety’s Network’s mission is to create lasting change in the lives of people affected by domestic violence (often called intimate partner violence), sexual assault, and stalking. These types of violence can be physical, emotional, virtual, financial, and/or sexual. If you are experiencing any of these types of violence, it Is not okay, and it is not your fault.

What is abuse?

It can be hard to pick out warning signs of abuse or be able to tell if the situation you are experiencing is considered abuse. Trust your gut. If you feel like a situation or behavior is unsafe or abusive, connect with an advocate who will help you find answers.

How to Stay Safe?

Your physical, emotional and psychological safety is our highest priority. CSN advocates can assist in formulating a personalized and practical Safety Plan to help during challenging situations. Some of the preparations for a safety plan might seem obvious, but it can be hard to think clearly or make logical decisions during moments of crisis. Having a safety plan laid out in advance can help you protect yourself and others in high-stress situations.
